Identified wet insulation on duct in Room #6. Water from upstairs bathroom may be dripping onto ducts. Couldn’t confirm point of water leak but photographed possible leak points above the duct. No condensate lines or flue piping located above ducts at that location. There were no water marks on the metal duct and ducts don’t sweat in winter, especially not on gas furnaces.
Checked system operations and refrigerant charge. Charge was not within range of correct readings. Duct cleaned all return ducts, pulled blower motor and cleaned blower wheel and housing, fixed drain line for proper drainage, insulated copper lineset in crawlspace to help prevent condensation build up. After fulling cleaning system, checked charge again and system was within refrigerant charge range.
