Old R22 unit shut off on water safety, cleaned ptrap and drain line,checked pressures and delta t, operating properly, system is very old R22, unit needs replacing.
Installed T4 Honeywell thermostat and tested operations, thermostat is operating properly and system is cooling at this time.
Identified leak in evaporator coil. Large oil stain identified on the blower side of the evaporator coil. Oil is mixed in with the refrigerant to lubricate the compressor. When a leak forms, refrigerant and oil leak out. The leak is sizable with a standing pressure temp of 43*, should’ve been closer to 90*. Unit model and serial are in equipment history
Wired I’m Aqua guard pan float switch and tested float switch. Float switch is operating properly and system is cooling at this time. Photos attached.
