The tech called ahead with an estimated arrival time and was actually 15 mins early. He kept me updated as to what he was doing. He found a bad capacitor and explained why it was bad then replaced it. Good experience.
DCM2: AC complete, replaced 16x20x1 and 20x20x1 filters (recommend replacing filters more frequently to keep systems clean). Both systems are functional and cooling at this time, temp split 13* and 16*. Left side system is slightly overcharged with R22, right systems refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor weather conditions. DCM2: AC complete, replaced (1) 20x25x1 and (1) 16 3/8 x 21 1/2 x 3/4 filters. Systems are fully functional and operating within manufacturer specifications at this time. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Noticed condensation pump was full of sludge and pump was slow to pump water out cleaned sludge from condensation pump.

Picked Up 2-16x25x4
Arrived to system off, turned system on compressor was not running looked at capacitor and noticed wire burnt up on the compressor side. Tested capacitor 45/5 reading .021/4.8. Replaced capacitor and compressor side wire, new capacitor reading 45/5.1, squeezed spade clips to help prevent loose connections on capacitor. Got amp draws on compressor 14.1- 6.3 and fan 1.1- .77.
Replaced indoor fan control board and tested system. High and Low fan control taps work as designed. System is fully functional. JB Warranty
Upon arrival homeowner stated that the outdoor unit was frozen - turned off and had fan operating - Energized high cool through thermostat control to check charge - outdoor started to freeze immediately and low pressure switch shut down outdoor unit - checked indoor blower operation to find the indoor blower not energizing - fan will operate in low cool when turned to fan on the thermostat control with 24v on terminal - put back in charge mode 0v on common to low and 0v to high - added a jumper wire from high blower tap to blower motor and capped low speed - indoor will operate in full speed till indoor unit blower board is replaced. Need to order air handler fan control board (indoor) This will fall under the extended warranty labor plan
