Upon arrival, the unit was found to be frozen, and I promptly cut power by pulling the disconnect. I advised the customer to leave the blower on and scheduled a return visit. During the return visit, I inspected the filter, which appeared clean and recently replaced, though I recommended an upgrade due to its difficult installation. The blower wheel was dirty and required cleaning, while the blower motor operated correctly. I applied gauges to the system, identifying it as a Goodman 2017/2018, 3-ton, 410a system. The system was approximately 1-3 lbs low on refrigerant, so I added the necessary amount. I also performed an electronic leak search at no charge, valued at $289, to address potential issues. The system is now cooling effectively, though it may take several hours to reach desired temperatures.
