I havent compared prices but always pleased with the service. Technicians patiently answer questions and seem very knowledgeable.
They were on time, courteous and thorough. They diagnosed the issue and handled the warranty claim with the manufacturer. Will use them again, and signed up for their maintenance service.
I have been using Dobbs for years and they always try and keep my system running. I was able to get 22 years out of it.
Installed bypass board. Unit started throwing alarms. Talked with Jason from rheem and we checked zone board, checked wires, reset and reconfigured thermostat, cannot get system to operate. Put a Honeywell t4 thermostat on temporary so ac will operate. Need to revisit next week to solve and repair problem.
Returned today to replace condensate pump on main level system removed original malfunctioning part which was hot wired which is improper installed new part then installed proper plug connector to allow proper plug for both condensate pumps. After installation tested operation of condensate pump confirming it was properly operating re-quoted repairs that are needed to be performed on equipment the system is cooling with concerns needing to be addressed.
Arrived today to install new supply & return grilles on the main level and upstairs unfortunately could not replace two due to improper sizing will have to order missing supply grilles then return to install.Recommend having duct work cleaned along with biological growth treated.
Arrived to system off, turned system on and found rollout switch has failed. Bypassed rollout switch and tested system in A/C, A/C system is operating properly refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Found furnace high limit has been bypassed, furnace no longer has any heat safeties if furnace where to overheat or rollout (flames starting to come out of burners) nothing would shut the system off. Found duct leakage on both supply and return. System is currently not operational, power is off at switch in attic. Spoke with homeowner and offered comfort advisor to give quote on updating furnace. She said she needed to talk to her fiancé. Furnace is 2010 and A/C is 2019.
Power was off to indoor system. Turned power back on and set thermostat in only ac to prevent heat from operating.
