Indoor capacitor was out of range 10 reading 7.8 spoke with homeowner she agreed to have the capacitor replaced. Replaced capacitor and checked operations capacitor is reading 10/10 and blower amps are in range. Capacitor is operating properly. Maintenance checklist and photos attached. DCM2: AC complete, checked filters. Both systems are fully functional and operating within manufacturer specifications at this time. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Maintenance checklist attached.
Isolated leaking refrigerant circuit and recover 1 lb of R410 refrigerant. Cut out old flare ( photo attached ), flared a new connection point and secured flare fitting to 20 ft-lb in accordance with manufacturer literature. Pressurized circuit and confirmed no leaks. Removed all moisture and non-condensables by way of a vacuum and tested system. Added 2 lbs of R410. System cools as designed. 19* temperature split between return and supply
Arrived to No Cool Identified leak in saturation line, video attached. Added 2 lbs R410. System is cooling. 17* temp split across the mini-split. Faulty flare fitting, flare nut has been over-tightened. Flare fitting needs to be removed and a new flare fitting installed.
Spoke with homeowner, reschedule for a different day
Upon arrival thermostat was saying installing and AC was not working. Turned system off and back on thermostat restarted and tried to go into cool the failed and restarted. Ohm contactor on outdoor unit and received .6, should be 7-15. Replaced contactor system is now cooling.
DCM2 complete; AC; (2) F16204 need to be replaced. Systems are fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturers specifications. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor conditions.
