I installed a new Trane 5-ton heat pump and air handler, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The installation included a new emergency drain pan, a pan safety switch, and a coil safety switch for added safety. I also installed a new thermostat for precise temperature control. All components were reconnected, including the supply plenum, return plenum, high voltage, low voltage, and drain line. After installation, I tested the system operations and set the refrigerant charge to ensure everything functioned correctly.
I recently completed a job involving a 460-volt, 3-phase Trane system. The task began with a thorough assessment of the existing setup to determine the necessary components and specifications. I then proceeded to install the new Trane system, ensuring all connections were secure and compliant with safety standards. Throughout the process, I monitored system performance to guarantee optimal efficiency. The job was successfully completed, leaving the system fully operational and ready for use.
Today I arrived to service Mr Moore units. Everything was operating under manufacture specifications.
Completed 2 system cooling maintenance, replaced filters, both units operating properly at this time. Estimate and pictures included
DCM2: Heat complete, replaced 14x20x1, 16x20x1 and 20x20x1 filters provided by homeowner. Both systems are fully functional and operating within manufacturer specifications at this time. Homeowner mentioned back room over garage is cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer. Talked to homeowner about adding duct work to the room if possible or installing a mini split in his garage. He wanted to speak with his wife about having a comfort advisor out, told him the shop would call Monday morning to schedule. Maintenance checklist attached.
DCM1: Heat completed. Changed 16x25x1 filter System is fully functional and operating within manufacturer specifications at this time. Heat rise of 60 degrees. No issues found.
Checked systems 1-7 and 9-10. System 1- arrived to main breaker tripped, reset breaker and checked operations. System has a 35amp 2 pole breaker the system says the minimum breaker size should be 36amp and maximum being 60amp. Wire to breaker is also undersized. It’s 9 gauge wire and needs to be 6 gauge to properly transfer voltage. Drain line was also broken, repaired drain line and added a clean out, deep trap, vent and insulation to help with drainage. Photos attached. System 2- quoted recently. System 3- quoted recently. System 4- is functional and operating within manufacturer specifications at this time, refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor weather conditions. System 5- system is not moving enough air for the system to work properly. Tried to adjust settings and blower speeds but there is no way to do so on this air handler. Will need to increase the size of the air handler for system to function properly. System 6- is fully funct
