Arrive to do ac maintenance notice compressor was hot and explained to Club member that this unit is older manufacture date 2003 an to have comfort advisor to schedule to come over for estimates on newer unit. Club member is aware the the refrigerant is phased out and will speak with comfort Advisor about unit.

Completed 2 systems cooling maintenance, replaced filters, renewed maintenance contract, systems operating properly at this time. Comfort specialist coming out next week to quote replacement on main unit, trane furnace and Rheem condenser. 17 yrs old

Removed old equipment and installed new Rheem 2 ton heat pump with 2 ton evaporator coil and 80% gas furnace. Installed new return plenum, new media filter cabinet with 16x25x4 filter, new supply plenum, new coil safety switch, new thermostat, new composite pad, and new line voltage monitor for outdoor unit. Reconnected high voltage, low voltage, drain line, gas line, vent pipe and all duct work. Tested system operations in heating and cooling, set proper refrigerant charge.

Main floor cooling system is low on R410a refrigerant is the reasoning why the air conditioning system isn’t cooling well - Will need to leak search using electronic search, then can determine if it can be repaired or not and then adding more refrigerant to the system. (If repairable then only the repair would be covered under warranty) This pricing below is everything totaled together. If the repair can be repaired then the cooling would not be replaced. If the repair cannot be made then the cooling would be replaced and the charge for the (repair would not be included) This is in the event the cooling coil is where the leak is. Will not know until the electronic leak is completed and confirmed where the leak is. It’s a possibility that the total could be more. Leak checked coils, indoor coils leaking, outdoor compressor will not come on. Owner decided to move forward with replacing unit. Office will call to set up date.
