If this fails to correct fault, recommend reversing supply register located above TV in master bedroom

Arrived to faulty breaker on indoor unit Homeowner had a replacement breaker of like size, replaced with homeowners permission When removing faulty breaker, lugs were loose causing excess heat to build in the breaker and sustain damage. Tested system, amp draw 44.2 amps. Observed system for 30 min, breaker didn’t trip and was cool to the touch.
