The three primary categories for energy savings are homeowners, home builders, and commercial building owners. The federal tax credit program is also based around what many of us know is called a SEER rating. Now, you may have seen the term "SEER rating" thrown around. But what does it actually mean? SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, and it's a measure of how efficiently a cooling system can operate over a season. The higher the SEER rating, the more efficient the system is at cooling your space, which can lead to lower energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint.
