The service I received from Dobbs was A-1. From the initial call, scheduling and end of service follow through, I received great communication and service. I was informed about the work needed, costs and there were no surprises! I am a very satisfied customer.
Removed old equipment and installed new carrier heat pump and air handler. Installed new return plenum, new 20x20x1 filter, new emergency drain pan, new pan safety switch, new coil safety switch, and new thermostat. Reconnected high voltage, low voltage, drain line, and lineset. Tested system operations, set proper charge.
Arrived to cooling imbalance in the home. Front of house gets much cooler than back of house. Tested system, system is functioning as designed. Fan speed could be reduced to decrease supply air temperature Ducting in the home is designed so supply runs in the front of the home ( 8-12 ft ) are drastically shorter than supply runs in the back of the home ( 30 -40ft ). Master bedroom in the back of the home has an 8in duct that is a dedicated supply run from the plenum that is getting limited air. The 8in duct run from the plenum has collapsed, possibly from a current water leak under the home. Could possibly require turning vanes to force more air through that 8 in duct. Photos attached. Unsure if water leak is from hot/cold , shower drain or sewage.

DCM1 :Service 2 of 2 ; AC Changed (1) 16x25x1: Performed Cooling Maintenance per checklist, homeowner said power bill has been higher and even though the thermostat is reading 76 it does not feel comfortable, she said someone she knows added duct work to a attic area that was finished, he added a 8 inch return and supply into the room pulling off of existing duct work and system, she had the supply damper closed off but some air was still bypassing but the return was still pulling air from the area and the humidity having to be removed was 13lbs a hr, gave her a option to return and remove the duct work entirely but she wanted the option to hook back up in the future, so with her permission removed ducting from boots taped up and zip tied close for a temporary repair so that system isn’t pulling unconditioned air into home.
P Upon arrival no AC, control board light solid red meaning controls failure. Fuse is good, getting 120V in and 26V at R-C on board.board is not operating, bypassed controls to get AC running. Informed with bypassing AC will run constantly only way to shut it off is, at light switch next furnace or breaker. Confirmed with Goodman part is under warranty, gave labor price. Placed order with Goodman PO-BUTTS
