I successfully removed the old equipment and installed a new Rheem 3.5 ton heat pump paired with a 4 ton air handler. The installation included a new return plenum equipped with a 20x25x1 filter, an emergency drain pan, a pan safety switch, a coil safety switch, and a disconnect box for the air handler. Additionally, I installed a new thermostat and a composite pad for the outdoor unit. I reconnected the supply plenum, high voltage, low voltage, drain line, line set, and return duct. After ensuring all connections were secure, I tested the system's operations in both heating and cooling modes and set the appropriate refrigerant charge.
I was tasked with evaluating and providing a quote for a new HVAC system installation and ductwork modification. This involved assessing the current system, determining the necessary upgrades, and calculating the costs for new equipment and labor. I meticulously planned the ductwork adjustments to ensure optimal airflow and efficiency. The quote included detailed pricing for materials, installation, and any additional modifications required to meet the client's needs.
